• On the occasion of Teacher  Day(5^th sept.), the Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a new Centrally Sponsored Scheme – Pradhan Mantri Schools for Rising India (PM SHRI)
  • • Under which 14,500 schools will be selected across India to develop and upgrade. These schools will be equipped with modern infrastructure including labs, smart classrooms, libraries, sports equipment, and other, which is inclusive and accessible in nature.

• • Karnataka is the 1^st state in southern India and only the second state [after Goa] in India to get the Coastal Zone Management Plan[CZMP], as per the Coastal Regulatory Zone [CRZ] 2019 notification which has been approved by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.

The scheme is intended to assist Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) in marketing their products in international markets by offering incentives at various phases of the business cycle.
• The Union government has been notified the Medical Devices (Amendment) Rules, 2022, which set down that all ‘Class A’ medical device manufacturers must register themselves through the “Online System for Medical Devices,” a designated online platform created for the purpose. ‘Class A’ medical devices provide minimal to moderate risk to the patient or user (like surgical dressings).
