    • On the occasion of Teacher  Day(5th sept.), the Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a new Centrally Sponsored Scheme – Pradhan Mantri Schools for Rising India (PM SHRI)

❱ Under which 14,500 schools will be selected across India to develop and upgrade. These schools will be equipped with modern infrastructure including labs, smart classrooms, libraries, sports equipment, and other, which is inclusive and accessible in nature.

    • Karnataka is the 1st state in southern India and only the second state [after Goa] in India to get the Coastal Zone Management Plan[CZMP], as per the Coastal Regulatory Zone [CRZ] 2019 notification which has been approved by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.
    • The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) extends Company Law Committee (CLC) by one more year (up to 16th September 2023). At present, 11-member Company Law Committee is chaired by corporate affairs secretary Tarun Bajaj.

    • Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari has been unveiled India’s 1st prototype of drone for transportation of human organs to facilitate quick organ transplant in hospitals.
    • India's first intranasal Covid vaccine by Bharat Biotech has been received DCGI approval for primary immunization against the infection for people above the age of 18.. The intranasal vaccine (iNCOVACC) for COVID-19 by Bharat Biotech is first of its kind needle-free vaccine.
    • Tata Motors launched India’s first Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) truck in the Medium & Heavy Commercial Vehicle (M&HCV) with Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

  • Uttar Pradesh places 1st among states in trials cases pending in Fast-track courts. Uttar Pradesh accounts for more than 70% of the 13.81 lakh pending trials in Fast-Track Courts (FTCs) in cases of heinous crimes against women, children, and senior citizens.

The Criminal Procedure (Identification) Act of 2022 repeals the Identification of Prisoners Act of 1920, despite the fact that the rules do not specify convicted persons.

  • The Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises has been introduced the “Capacity Building of First Time MSE Exporters” [CBFTE] component of the International Cooperation [IC] Scheme. The scheme is intended to assist Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) in marketing their products in international markets by offering incentives at various phases of the business cycle.
  • The Union government has been notified the Medical Devices (Amendment) Rules, 2022, which set down that all ‘Class A’ medical device manufacturers must register themselves through the “Online System for Medical Devices,” a designated online platform created for the purpose. ‘Class A’ medical devices provide minimal to moderate risk to the patient or user (like surgical dressings).

  • As per the new study published in the scientific journal Nature Climate Change, India’s updated climate pledge to the Paris Agreement has been ranked 5th in compliance and 4th in ambition. While the European Union at the top spot, the United States (US) was placed bottom.

  • Indo-Danish Hon'bleMinisters launch White Paper highlighting 'Urban Wastewater Scenario in India' at International Water Association (IWA) World Water Congress & Exhibition 2022 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
  • United Nations-International Organization for Migration (UN-IOM) & Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has signed a MoU to collaborate on strengthening the safe migration of Indian citizens.
  • The CII has decided to adopt over 35,000 tuberculosis (TB) patients by providing nutritional support. In this regard, it is working closely with Central TB Division, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

  • On the occasion of Teacher  Day(5th sept.), the Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a new Centrally Sponsored Scheme – Pradhan Mantri Schools for Rising India (PM SHRI)
