CUET 2024 is just around the corner, and most of you are already preparing hard to confirm a seat in the college of your choice. Before you appear for the exam, prepare as per the CUET Syllabus 2024 to improve your chances of getting to the top of the merit list. There are around 219 universities that will be participating in CUET 2024. Lakhs of students will take the CUCET entrance exam this year. The admission will be done entirely based on CUET merit and your class 12 marks. The CUET entrance exam is an MCQ-based test which is based on the CUET Syllabus.  

This year the CUET Entrance test will be conducted between May 15 to May 31, 2024. Students who have enrolled for the entrance exam must prepare as per their selected subjects. CUET Exam Pattern 2024

The NTA CUET entrance exam notification was released on the official website of Samarth.ac.in. This year there are slight changes in the CUET Exam Pattern. The CUET 2024 exam is divided into four sections, Section I is the language test, Section II is the Domain test, and Section III is the General Test. In the four sections of the CUET exam (Section IA, IB, II and III), a few changes have been added this year. Mostly, there have been major changes in the Sections II & III of the CUCET 2024 exam. The details are mentioned below:

CUET Computer Science/Informatics Practices Syllabus 2024

The question paper for Computer Science/Informatics Practices for CUET entrance exam 2024 would carry 50 questions. There will be one Question Paper which will contain two sections i.e. 

• Section A and Section B (B1 and B2). 

• Section A will have 15 questions covering both, i.e. Computer Science/Informatics Practices, which will be compulsory for all candidates.

CUET Performing Arts Syllabus 2024

There are 4 sections in the Performing Arts CUET entrance test syllabus:

•Section A: Vocal & Instrumental Melodic Hindustani &

The CUET Performing Arts test shall have two parts: 

•Part I is compulsory for all which. The section will have 20

questions. 

• Part II shall have four sections (that are mentioned above).

•Students are required to attempt any 20 questions.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the CUET exam to get admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Central Universities in India. CUET entrance exam started in 2022 around 200 universities took part in it. This year, the CUCET entrance exam will be held from 15th May to 31st May 2024. How to take the CUET Entrance Exam 2024?

Students appearing for the CUCET entrance exam 2024 must know that they can choose only a limited number of subjects. No candidate has to appear for all the subjects that are mentioned above. Select subjects as per your competency and prepare as per the CUCET Syllabus 2024. Check the important points before you fill out the form for the CUET exam:

  • Section IB is not compulsory. Candidates only select the languages in Section IB if they want to join a degree programme in the languages given in Section IB.
  • Section III is also not mandatory. You only have to write the Section III test if it is required for the degree programme you want admission to. 
  • A student can only take a maximum of 9 tests.

• Choose a maximum of two languages from Section IA and Section IB together. 

  • Choose a maximum of six domain subjects from Section II.

  •You can choose to attempt the General test from Section III as well. 

OR

  •Choose three languages from Section IA and Section IB taken together.

  •Take five domain subjects from Section II.

  •Attempt the General test from Section III. 

  • The CUET UG entrance exam will be conducted in two or more slots on different days for each candidate. 

  •You can take up to four tests in slot 1, conducted in the morning shift.

  •The morning shift CUET test would include one language from Section IA, a maximum of two domain-specific subjects from Section II and one General test from Section III.

  • You can choose at least five of the following tests in Slot 2, which will be held during the afternoon shift:

  •You can choose one language from Sections IA and IB.

  •You can choose up to four domain subjects from Section II.

OR

  •Choose two languages from Sections IA and IB.

  •Choose up to three domain-specific subjects from Section II. 

Students may take up to 9 tests if they combine Slots 1 and 2.
