An Overview of CUET Counselling Process 2023

The CUET Counselling 2023 for bachelor degrees will be regulated separately by the respective universities that take part in this exam, which includes the central universities too. Tentative dates suggest that the CUET Counselling 2023 will be carried out in July and August, as the results will be out by then, which are expected in the last week of June.

Again, CUET PG Counselling has the same process, and it is likely to take place in the last week of July or in August, with the declaration of the CUET 2023 results by the NTA in the second week of July.

Registration Process for CUET Counselling

The CUET counselling is different for each of the participating universities. Like, DU has already moved ahead with the admission process. 

You can register yourself from the CSAS portal by following the below-mentioned steps. 

Step 1: Visit the CSAS portal. 

Step 2: Log in to the portal using your CUET credentials i.e., CUET Application number and your DOB. 

Step 3: Follow the said instructions to move ahead with the registration process.

Required Documents for CUET Counselling

For the CUET counselling process, certain documents are necessary, failing which can cancel your candidature. Remember to see the following list carefully, and bring every document on a positive note, or else you might not get further from the cucet counselling process.

• Admit Card for CUET 2023 – The admit card which you downloaded from the official website of NTA (the governing authority of the CUET exam) should be there.

• Result sheet of CUET 2023 – The result sheet i.e., your mark sheet, should also be among the documents brought for CUCET counselling.

• Degree Certificate and Marksheet of all semesters – The degree certificate as well as the marksheets of all the semesters in your college, is required.

• Class X and XII Certificate and Marksheets – The certificate and mark sheets of class 10th and 12th boards are necessary.

• Category Certificate – As there are reserved seats for SC/ST, OBC, and PwD students, students belonging to those categories should also bring the category certificate as proof.

• Medical Certificate – Candidates with any disability should also bring their medical certificate showcasing proof of their disability.

• Photocopies of the original documents – For the CUET counselling process, it is necessary to bring photocopies of the original documents.

Seat Allotment Procedure

NTA follows a comprehensive seat allotment process. After the CUET results are out, the participating universities will begin their individual counselling process. You are free to opt for the university of your choice, provided you have satisfied their eligibility requirements. 

Based on the CUET results 2023 and the prescribed cutoff from universities, candidates will be allocated seats in the counselling round.
