Two days later, Mijbil escaped from the author’s bedroom and entered the bathroom. By the time Maxwell got there, he was up on the end of the bathtub and fumbling at the chromium taps with his paws. In less than a minute, he had turned the tap far enough to produce a trickle of water and after a moment or two achieved the full flow.

Ans. To travel by air to England, Mij had to be packed into a box not more than eighteen inches square and to be carried on the floor at Maxwell’s feet.

Ans. In the desperation to free himself from the cramped box, Mijbil tore the lining of the box to shreds. In doing so, it wounded itself spattered blood all over.

Ans. As soon as the box was opened, Mijbil shot out and ran away towards the passengers where he startled and alarmed many people. However, the air hostess took control of the situation and soon Mijbil was back with Maxwell.
