The following is a chapter-wise brief of NCERT Solutions of Class 9 Science:

Unit I: Matter-Nature and Behaviour

The foundational topics of class 9 Science prepare for an academic discipline to be pursued in higher studies. It is on these basic concepts that advanced topics will be based. Proper understanding and a good grasp of these topics will make it easier to score higher in class 9 annual exam in 2024.

Unit II: Organization in the Living World

This unit in Science Class 9 is a fundamental chapter in Biology that describes the types and significant characteristics of a cell, the unit of life. The unit covers chapters that detail the structure of a cell, plasma membrane, nucleus, and DNA.

Sound: Nature of sound and its propagation in various media, speed of sound, range of hearing in humans; ultrasound; the reflection of sound; echo.

Unit IV:  Food; Food Production

Class 9 Science Chapter about food production focuses on the food resources over the centuries to meet the necessities of the country’s population. It explores the practices that have been found from experience and experiments to improve the quality of life and resources.

Some important topics from the chapter are plant and animal breeding and selection for quality improvement and management; the use of fertilizers and manures; protection from pests and diseases; the need and rise of organic farming.
