CBSE Class 9 Science Syllabus 2026-27

CBSE released the Class 9 Science syllabus for the 2026–27 session on April 1, 2026. Students must follow this syllabus for annual exam preparation. The syllabus follows the NCERT curriculum and defines the exam pattern, chapter-wise topics, and internal assessment rules.

CBSE uses the single annual exam pattern to set question papers and evaluate answers. Class 9 Science covers key topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, including Matter, Motion, Cell Structure, and Natural Resources. These chapters build a strong base for Class 10.

The syllabus also includes internal assessment through practical work, projects, and tests. CBSE prepares most questions from NCERT textbooks, so students should align their study with NCERT content.

Students should use this syllabus to plan study time, revise important chapters, and focus on scoring areas.
