CBSE Deleted Syllabus of Class 11 Chemistry 2023-24

Class 11 and 12 are undoubtedly the most important classes of a student’s life and students start preparing beforehand for these examinations so that they can perform their best. In a recent update regarding the syllabus and whole examination pattern for these senior secondary classes, CBSE has made a lot of changes and some prominent ones as well. The CBSE has made these changes in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP) in 2020, NCERT has significantly redesigned the Chemistry textbooks to provide students with a more contemporary and engaging educational experience. The NEP 2020 website states that “the reduction in the material will help in increased curriculum flexibility and the renewed emphasis on productivity rather than rote learning.” The new curriculum has been condensed to reduce the workload on the students and encourage experiential learning. This reduction in syllabus has added to the happiness of the students but it has also created a bit of confusion among them.
