CBSE Board exams for both classes 10 and 12 were held from 15 February 2023. While class 10 CBSE board exams got over on 21 March, class 12 were held till 5 April 2023. CBSE Result 2023 Passing Marks

The CBSE result 2023 was announced on 12 May 2023, and students who have scored at least 33 or above will be considered as passed in a subject. If you fail to score more than 33 in one or two subjects, the CBSE will pass you with grace marks. However, if students fail to score 33 in more than three subjects, they will not be considered as passed. You need to pass in at least 4 out of 5 subjects.

Now if you divide it by 5, you will get 90.4%, which will be your total percentage.

CBSE allows re-test or compartment test for students if they have failed any of the main subjects after the CBSE result 2023 is out. The compartment test dates will be released in May 2023 after the CBSE result 2023. The compartment exams are conducted in the month of July. This year instead of compartment exams the re-examination will be called Supplementary exam and will be conducted in the month of July.

If a student is not satisfied with their marks, they can apply for rechecking before 29th July 2023 after the CBSE result 2023 is out. Students would have to pay a fee of INR 500 for each subject they want rechecking for.
