ISC Class 11 Hindi Syllabus 2024-25
CISCE has released the Latest Updated Syllabus of the New Academic Session 2024-25, for class 11. Students must refer to www.cisce.org under the ‘Regulations and Syllabuses’ page for ISC 2026.
ISC class 11 Hindi Syllabus has been revised and updated for the new session 2024-25. It’s very important for both Teachers and Students to understand the changes and strictly follow the topics covered in ISC class 11 Hindi 2024-25.
We have also updated Oswal Publishers Books as per the Latest Paper Pattern prescribed by CISCE Board for ISC class 11 Hindi 2024-25.

ISC Hindi Class 11 Latest Syllabus 2024-25
There will be two papers in the subject:
Paper I - Theory: 3 hours…… 80 Marks
Paper II - Project Work ……. 20 Marks
PAPER I (THEORY): 80 Marks
There will be one paper of three hours duration, which will consist of two sections:
Section A: Language (40 marks)
Section B: Prescribed Textbooks (40 marks)
SECTION A
LANGUAGE – 40 Marks
This section will consist of three questions, all of which will be compulsory.
- Composition: One composition of 400 words approximately, in the language, to be written out of a choice of 6 topics set within the experience and mental maturity of the age-group of the candidates.
- Comprehension: An unseen passage of about 300 words to be set with questions and/or summary
(with heading to test the ability to summarise and/or to expand an idea given in the passage). - Grammar: Functional grammar - correction of sentences and using words/idioms in sentences, viz. correct structure with proper agreement of the subject and verb according to the number, gender, case, tense and voice.
SECTION B
PRESCRIBED TEXTBOOKS – 40 Marks
Candidates will be required to answer four questions from any three of the prescribed textbooks.
NOTE: The Class XII - ISC Examination paper will be set on the entire syllabus prescribed for the subject.
The Class XI Examination is to be conducted on the portion of this syllabus that is covered during the academic year.
The CISCE has not prescribed bifurcation of the syllabus prescribed for this subject.
